CHURCH WORLD SERVICE IS SPONSORING “ECU-BUILD IOWA!” WHEN: THE WEEK OF MAY 16-22, 2010. You must be 16 years or older to go! 16 to 18 years olds must have a liability release signed by a parent or guardian.
WHAT WILL I DO? We will be doing sheet rock, cabinet installation, laying floors, taping, spackling, painting, insulation, etc. If you don't know how, we will show you how. YOU ARE NEEDED!

Leamon, minister of the Maple Shade Congregational Church, United Church of Christ in Maple Shade, NJ, and James C. Leamon of Warminster United Church of Christ in Warminster, PA! The UCC has pledged 15 people for each week of the “Ecu-Build Iowa!” We are representing the UCC during the last week of the rebuilding. There will be hundreds of people from many denominations from all over the US to help with this month long rebuilding process!
TRAVEL: You are responsible for getting to Cedar Rapids! We will try and get good airfare and fly together as much as possible! We will coordinate the sharing of a rental van/cars while we are there.
LODGING: We will be staying at the Mainstay Suites in Cedar Rapids. We are getting rooms for $70 a night or $35@ for two in a room. That includes a continental breakfast and rooms with a kitchenette in them. There is a pool and sauna.
